I’m not sure why you’d do this, but I saw a tweet from Andrew Hyde about a service to shorten the URL for your Facebook profile. The service is at fbook.us. I tried it out and it does work. I’m just not sure why you care to do this. Are long Facebook URLs really a problem for anyone? Given that they’ve only served 228 as I write this, I guess not. Well, whatever.

Just saw this tweet and I laughed out loud.
Guy Kawasaki did a great post from Scott Shane on the top ten myths of entrepreneurship. I’m still waiting on someone to write the list of entrepreneurial personality types to combat the list of investor personality types. Maybe that’s a post for next week.
Disclosure: Guy’s firm, Garage Technology Ventures, was involved in my old company Digital Envoy.
I just stumbled onto the fact that someone at Georgia Tech is sending sports updates via Twitter. How cool is that? They even took the time to update the background layout of their profile on Twitter. With only 19 followers clearly they haven’t gotten the word out on this. How about a link on some Georgia Tech website?
Given the time and location of the latest meeting for the TAG/ATDC Entrepreneurs Society, I didn’t make the event. Fortunately both Lance Weatherby and Josh Watts have done posts on the events. Like I mentioned before, if you’re a startup looking for a business plan competition to enter, you should look at the one discussed at this meeting.
